 | "This is a large, terminated (multi-peaked) compound crystal of Quartz in a Matrix of Albite, upon the face of which has grown a knob of Pink Tourmaline. WOW! It is a large, fascinating specimen from the Cryo-Genie Mine in California, from where you see VERY few specimens of any kind on the market. The "mine" was more an active trench in the ground, and has now pinched out I am told , to the point where more pockets are not expected. This was the most recently mined project in San Diego, and was a surprise find a few years ago. This piece is from the Chris Korpi collection - Chris had one of the best suites from the mine!"
